Senior Medicare Patrol - Special Presentation
Topic: Grants Available for Senior Advocacy
The California Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP), a federally-granted senior advocacy non-profit, will award sub-grants to a select group of non-profit organizations serving the Inland Empire during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2022.
The mission of the SMP program is to outreach to Medicare beneficiaries, their family members, and caregivers and educate them about healthcare fraud and scams prevention.

California Senior Medicare Patrol
Mcki Nozaki is the State Director of the California Senior Medicare Patrol Program. The Senior Medicare Patrol is a federal, grant-funded program through the Department of Health and Human Services which provides Medicare and Medi-Cal healthcare fraud prevention education and outreach throughout the state.
Prior to assuming her current role, Micki spent her professional career in private industry leading the development, implementation and management of IT Security and Computer Privacy programs.
Micki believes that healthcare fraud is elder abuse and she is very passionate about protecting older adults and persons with disabilities from being victimized by criminal fraudsters.
