During this presentation, participants will go through practical and reflective activities in order to develop the most effective collaboration to help meet their goals.

Speaker: Carlos Cazares
Resident Advocacy Specialist, Center for Nonprofit Management
Carlos Cazares is the resident advocacy specialist at CNM with years of experience in grassroots organizing and assessment. Carlos brings a strong background in group facilitation, community capacity building, civic engagement programs and strategy, and leadership development with a racial equity lens. In his 13+ years of leadership and experience, he has educated and developed leadership skills in more than 800 youth and parents; built staff and operational capacity for more than five educational institutions through data collection, grant development, and professional development; and has advocated and assessed the implementation of more than $350 million invested in Educational Equity for Los Angeles Youth. Carlos has a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Chicana/o Studies.
