Presented by: Andrea Mitchel, Vice President,
AM Development Group

Andrea Mitchel is the Director of Research and Development at the Cal State Reentry Initiative (CSRI) and the Vice-President of AM Development Group. 

After spending approximately fifteen years in education as a middle school teacher and high school administrator, she began doing nonprofit development work. 

Mitchel is the founder and original designer of the CSRI program.  She has extensive experience in obtaining grant funding and has obtained over $300 million in grant funding for projects dealing with prisoner reentry, education, and healthcare. 

She has a master's in education with an emphasis in administration.  Andrea is an instructor at Los Angeles Valley College teaching nonprofit development and grant writing.

AM Development Group works with municipalities, institutions of higher education, and healthcare clinics in program and funds development throughout Southern California.
