Featured Presentation: California Grants Portal (Grants.CA.Gov)
Your one Destination to find California Grant and Loan Opportunities offered on a competitive and or first-come basis.
As part of the Grants Information Act of 2018, the California State Library has spent the past year building one website that provides a centralized location to find state grant opportunities. Grantseekers will be able to use the Portal to learn about all state grant and loan opportunities that are offered on a competitive or first-come basis.
The presentation will also demonstrate how to:
- Search for grants and loans using different filters on the website to drill down into specific opportunities
- Set up email alerts for when specific kinds of grants or loans are added to the portal
- Provide feedback and suggestions

Shivani’s passion to make a difference in the state government led her to start her career with the Office of Governor in 2010, where she served in various roles throughout both administrations. Shivani serves on NxtGov and Asian Pacific State Employees Association executive board. Shivani is a graduate of University of California, Davis.
