Seals give funders insights into your organization, enabling educated grant-giving decisions. Potential donors are actively seeking diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) information, earn a Gold Seal and demonstrate your commitment to transparency.

Research also links earning a GuideStar Seal of Transparency to a 53% increase in contributions for nonprofits.

What information do I need to provide to earn a 2021 Gold Seal of Transparency?

You must complete Bronze and Silver requirements. To earn Gold, simply upload your nonprofit’s Board Chair name, leadership demographics, and audited financial report or basic financial details. Is my nonprofit eligible for Go for the Gold? 

To qualify for the Go for the Gold! the promotion you must be authorized to provide information about a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose operating revenue is less than one million dollars and earn, at minimum, a GuideStar Gold Transparency Seal between October 18 and December 31, 2021.
