We?ve just added another how-to-apply webinar to help nonprofit live event venues learn more about applying for COVID relief funds through the California Venues Grant Program. It's coming up quickly, but we wanted to make sure we were available to respond to as many interested nonprofit venues as possible.

The new webinar is set for this Friday, Nov. 5 from 2:30-3:30 p.m

Grants of up to $250,000 are available to eligible live venues including nonprofits -- through The California Office of the Small Business Advocate. The short application window for the California Venues Grant Program is open now through November 19. The program is designed to assist venues in California impacted by COVID-19.

If your organization meets the eligibility criteria, you can still receive a grant even if you already received a California Relief Grant, a federal Shuttered Venues Operators Grant, or other federal support such as PPP or EIDL. Unlike the CA Relief Grant, there is no maximum revenue cap to qualify.

Do you know a performing arts venue in California that should know about this program? Please help us reach these organizations; forward this email on to arts organizations, performers, musicians, production managers, tech support staff, community organizations and others who might be able to share this information with eligible venues, particularly nonprofit venues.

We at CalNonprofits, along with our coalition partners, worked hard to ensure nonprofits are eligible for this funding. We will continue to help make sure that nonprofits are treated equitably in state relief funding programs, including this one.
