Creating culturally proficient working relationships requires an ongoing journey characterized by self-reflection and a commitment to learning about others. It calls for family strengthening organizations to seek understanding, learn to address inequities, and to embrace and celebrate the rich dimensions of diversity within our unique communities. Join us for this stimulating workshop that will introduce effective methods to enhance working relationships.
In this training, participants will:
- Learn research, frameworks, and tools designed to enhance cultural proficiency and empathy
- Increase understanding of how their own cultures impact their interactions with others Learn how to use the Cultural Proficiency Continuum to facilitate personal and organizational change All are invited!
- This unique training is intended for all staff or volunteers who work in social services, education, or the general helping field, regardless of job description.
