ANNUAL ACCESS GOVERNMENT DAY NONPROFIT FORUM
Special Keynote Speaker
Kris Lev-Twombly
Director of Public Policy
California Association of Nonprofits
"CalNonprofits"
Kris will discuss CalNonprofits' legislative advocacy to benefit California's nonprofit sector, talk about easy ways local organizations can get involved in this advocacy, and will lead a discussion to get input about YOUR pressing issues to inform CalNonprofits' advocacy efforts.
Additionally, Kris will conduct CalNonprofits' signature workshop on legislative advocacy, answering some of the following issues nonprofits face:
- Does your organization or network want to increase its impact in state policy advocacy? Are you trying to decide how best to apply your resources to advocacy? Are you wondering whether you should engage in advocacy or not?
- By attending you will receive clear, simple tools to understand the opportunities for advocacy, to tailor advocacy plans that suit your organization’s capacity, and to craft winning advocacy campaigns with measurable results along the way.
-
Part expert guidance and part group learning, this workshop will set the stage for your organization or network to advocate effectively for the policies you want, and to raise your profile in the process.
