Founder/CEO
Pocket Security
Founder/CEO Leda Muller has extensive experience in the field of information technology and cyber security (over 20 years) as well as 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
In her career journey, she worked for a nonprofit in Silicon Valley as the Director of Fundraising and Community Development, where she also became the Systems/Network Administrator and Help Desk. During her time at the nonprofit, she saw the rise and fall of dot.coms. Here she saw how technology can be used in a beneficial way but also saw glimpses of how data and information can be shared with others if controls are not in place.
She has organized and led many initiatives associated with information security, risk management, business continuity, security procedure/policy, and security steering/governance. Through her engagement with end-users, business operators, and executives she has been able to successfully instill the fundamental tenet that security is everyone's job.
Leda's shared passion for people, technology, and cyber security prompted her to start Pocket Security. She seeks to leverage her experience in information technology and cyber security to educate, strengthen, and advance the security posture of nonprofit organizations everywhere.
