We work hard to find people who share our passion for animals, and then to invite them to become donors to our organization. We thank them, we keep in touch with them, we tell them what we are up to.
And, then a great percentage of them ghost us. They disappear without any explanation and we are left to wonder what we could have done differently.
Donor retention is a major problem from the biggest to the smallest nonprofit, from museums to shelters, from think tanks to service providers.
In this interactive discussion, Kim Klein will share what we know about donor retention—what percent of donors is it realistic to think we would keep year after year? What do other organizations do to keep their donors?
And what are some practical steps we can take in the month of December to get as many renewals as possible, and build a strong retention program in 2022?
