While this is still the case\, there is a growing trend in both program design and funding arenas to specifically prioritize issues of equity.  Join us for the first 2018 convening of the Inland Empire Resource Network where we will hear from a leader in the Southern California funding community discuss how they hope to eliminate structural barriers to equity.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nKeynote Presenter: Joanna Jackson\, Vice President Grant Operations at the Weingart Foundation.\n\n\n\nAs Director\, Grant Operations\, Joanna is responsible for the management of Weingart Foundation's responsive grantmaking programs and staff including the Unrestricted Operating Support and Capital grant programs. Since joining the Foundation in 2008\, Joanna has held the position of Program Associate\, Program Director\, and\, most recently\, Director of Special Projects. Prior to joining the Foundation\, she accumulated more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit\, philanthropic and public sectors holding positions at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF\, The California Endowment and the City of San Jose\, Office of the City Manager.
