- Receive feedback to help optimize your success

Please download and put on your laptop. A notebook will be provided at the first class.
Please send an email confirmation of this message to Paula Martinez at martinezpaulap@gmail.com. This will let us know we have the correct email for you.
Bring the following with you to the first class:
- Bring a one-page description of a program for which you want to seek funding including (1) the need you are addressing, (2) who you will serve, (3) impact – what changes you want your clients to make as a result of your program, (4) what services you will provide.
- Bring agency and project budgets if you have them.
- Bring your logic model for this program if you have one.
- Bring a FULLY CHARGED laptop if you wish to create your documents electronically. Templates will be available electronically and in printed copies.
Following is more information you need to be aware of:
1) Please arrive at 8:30 a.m. the first morning, Friday, October 6 in order to find parking, check in and receive your notebook.
2) Bring your laptop FULLY CHARGED to each class so you can work on the documents.
3) Course Schedule: The first day of The Academy will be October 6. Additional course dates will be October 13, 20 and 27. Please mark these dates on your calendar. Each class builds on the one before it so your attendance at each session is very important so that you will get the maximum impact from The Academy.
4) Time:
October 6 - please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.
All other dates - please arrive by 8:45 a.m.
All classes end at 4:00 p.m.

6) There will be water and coffee on site. There is also a nice cafe onsite and several other options close to the facility.
7) Each day of the course you will have a one-hour break. You may bring your lunch to eat onsite during the break or you may go out.
